Villa d’Or could get hold of several cast iron treads which were left over after the renovation of an old train station. After redesign, Villa d’Or launched the reproduction of these treads in several different lengths. With these Bordeaux model treads, magnificent staircases can be made in many ways.

The staircase is equipped with one baluster per tread, but can also be equipped with (luxury) forged iron panels to give the staircase a stunning appearance.

As the treads must be bolted between the stringers, this allows you to determine the height of the steps yourself by dividing them in an equal manner over the total height.
